Booking Process

Applying for a Booking

• Click the link in the text message you receive to apply.
• If approved, you’ll receive two notifications:
1. Approval confirmation.
2. Event details via WhatsApp.

Before the Event

• At the start of the booking week, you’ll receive communication with full details.
• Maintain a record of your confirmed bookings in a diary.

Day of the Booking

• Confirm all details with us before midday and introduce yourself to the customer via text.
• Ask if they have special requests to make the event extra special.

Arrival

• Arrive 10 minutes early and meet any additional butlers outside the venue.
• If delayed, inform the customer and provide an updated ETA.
• Use WhatsApp calls if network issues prevent you from contacting the customer.
• Wait outside until invited inside.
• A changing room will be provided on arrival.

During the Job

• Introduce Yourself: Greet the customer and guests at the start of the event.
• Tasks:
• Serve drinks, top up glasses, and assist with food.
• Play and host games with the group.
• Ensure glasses and dishes are cleaned during the event.
• Professional Behaviour:
• Smile, be polite, and act professionally at all times.
• Engage with the group and contribute to the atmosphere.

Hen Party Requirements

• Games: Be prepared to host and suggest party games.
• Cocktails: Know how to make basic cocktails (e.g., Sex on the Beach).
• Champagne Service: Practice pouring champagne or prosecco to avoid spillage.

Dress Code

• Standard Uniform:
• Collar and black bow tie (to be provided by you).
• Buff Boyz apron (to be worn as instructed).
• Tight black boxers (as requested).
• Black/dark flip-flops or formal black shoes (depending on the event type).
• Special Requests:
• Customers may request black trousers for conservative or corporate events.
• Props provided by customers (hats, jewellery, etc.) may be used during the event.
• Care Instructions:
• Wash uniforms at 30°C.
• Separate whites (collar and cuffs) from darks (apron).

• Always act like a gentleman—polite, professional, and approachable.
• Arrive prepared, well-groomed, and ready to deliver exceptional service.
• Represent Buff Boyz with pride and maintain a high standard of conduct.

These rules are in place to ensure a safe, fun, and professional working environment for all team members. Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in disciplinary action or dismissal.

Butler Bag

It is strongly recommended that you take a kit bag to every job, we recommend the following:

• Full uniform (please see above) – Except for Strippers
• Deodorant
• Hair wax/gel
• Mouthwash
• Cleansing wipes
• Party games/ideas – Except for Strippers

Self-Employment

You are not an employee of Buff Boyz; rather, you operate as a self-employed contractor. As such, you are responsible for managing your own tax and National Insurance obligations.

As a self-employed individual, you have the flexibility to decline booking opportunities if you are unavailable or have prior commitments.

However, once you confirm your availability and a booking is assigned to you, we expect your full commitment to fulfilling the agreed-upon responsibilities.

Please note that as a self-employed contractor, you are considered a separate entity from Buff Boyz.

This distinction means that any inappropriate or antisocial behaviour, or actions of a more serious nature, are your personal responsibility. Buff Boyz is not liable for any consequences arising from such conduct by self-employed Butlers.
